Who is in the Radley’s house?
“The old house was the same, droopy and sick, but as we stared down the street we thought we saw an inside shutter move. Flick. A tiny, almost invisible movement, and the house was still” (15).
I am almost certain that someone is inside that house when Jem touched it. I mean, if there wasn’t anyone inside, why did Scout see movement? I don’t think the people inside the Radley house even knows about the dare going on outside. Jem, Scout, and Dill make the situation such a big deal. Is touching a house really so hard? What is the big deal? I can touch my neightbor’s house right now if I wanted to and no one would know about it. I can’t believe almost everyone believes those stories about the Radley house. They are so unimaginable. If it was me, I would never believe those rumors about the Radley house unless I really saw what happened with my own two eyes.

I agree with whoever wrote this, I know it sounds kind of rude, but I can’t find a name anywhere. Anyways yes, there is most likely someone in the Radley house. If the rumors are true, and Boo is inside, one would assume he would look outside to see what’s going on. If you were living in a time where there was no t.v. or internet, the great outdoors would be your entertainment. If you hear children laughing outside, wouldn’t you want to take a look? Then again if the rumors are true, Boo isn’t a sane person, so it’s hard to tell if he even knows what’s going on. Also touching a house is a BIG deal especially when it’s inhabited by a person rumored to be insane. Jem could have been dragged inside and probably killed by Boo. Well as they say, curiosity killed the cat…
LOl,I can touch my neighbor’s door riht now too. If they ever notice it of course. (Just a side comment) I think the town people is curiouss and scared of Radley’s place. If I were in their time, I will just knock on the door until Boo comes out. Their house sure is a mysterious place. So far, I only there’s three people in the house: Boo, Mr. Radley and Mrs. Radley. What they do inside that house nobody knows. The stories about Radley’s place is really intresting. I don’t believe in it though. Well, it was the old times, people believe everything they see and hear. I think The Radleys knows what’s going on outside, since they can peek through thw window.(JK) At the end of chapter four, Scout mention that someone was laughing in the house. I thought that was creeepy though, laughing in the middle of the night.That happens alot in horrow movie. Maybe, The Radleys are having fun or whatever.I can’t wait until Boo comes out of his house. I really want to know what he looks like and what did he do all these years. Boo is like locked up in a cage and he can never come out of it…
