“If you don’t have anything good to say, keep it to yourself” is an old saying for all elementary schools nation wide. Our teachers always tell us that it is better to keep opinions to yourself so no one will get offended. Also by practicing this principle, children learn how to be respectful to each other and to other grown ups. This picture illustrates that because this kid keeps his mouth shut because he does not want to offend anyone, like how Mr. Ewell offended Atticus Finch by spitting on him, beating him and threatening him. Why can’t people learn that respect is what we need to get our lives in shape? Mr. Ewell should have just kept his mouth shut and took his anger and frustration out of a pillow or on a piece of wood, not human beings.

Well I’m glad there are a few people out there that think relatively the same way I do. I say, “All I ever needed to know I learned in kindergarten.” Anyway, getting back to the point, good interpretation of this section. I agree that those idiots should of kept there peace and shut up. Also, remember the sayin’ “treat others like you mant to be treated?” that applies well here to.
